Celebrating creativity and the therapeutic power of art
Back for 2025, the art gallery will provide a space for quiet sanctuary amongst the buzz of the event. Showcasing work by patient groups, health practitioners and those from the HLTH community.
In addition to the artwork on display, there will also be a programme of workshops running in the gallery, offering the opportunity to flex creative muscles and experience firsthand the mindful and meditative power of art. Workshops are open to all, with no prior experience required. Our team of artists and creatives will be on hand to provide guidance and inspiration.

Meet our creatives delivering the workshops:
Adam Bridgland:
Since graduating from the Royal College of Art in 2006, Bridgland has used a diverse range of materials and working methods to pursue an incisive and often witty exploration of distinctively British sentiments, externalising the underlying sense of loss and nostalgia that permeates our memories.
Amy Isles Freeman:
Amy Isles Freeman is an artist and educator. Her colourful murals, clothing and designs explore love, freedom and nature, creating joyful and illustrative spaces and objects.
Amy is a trained art teacher, and has years of experience leading creative workshops. Her warm and creative approach brings out the arty side in everyone.
Krystina Tyrtania:
With a background in fine art studies, Krystina Tyrtania is Assistant Arts Curator at UCLH, and has a wealth of experience delivering art workshops within healthcare settings.
Amy Shelton:
Shelton’s practice explores the intricate connections between biodiversity and human health and wellbeing.
Proudly partnered with UCLH Arts and Heritage

We are delighted to once again be partnering with UCLH Arts. Who this year, have curated a collection of artworks on themes of growth, nurture and nature.
Featuring artists such as Amy Shelton, Oana Bakovic, and Christine Felce, as well as ceramics made by hospital staff. Accompanying these artworks will be an array of informal creative participatory workshops designed to foster connection and encourage delegates to have some respite and unwind creatively.
UCLH Arts, established in 2005, is the award-winning arts programme for University College London Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust. The programme is committed to providing a welcoming, uplifting environment for patients, visitors and staff. It does this through weekly creative and cultural opportunities: activity such as music by patient’s bedsides; resident artist–led creative sessions; exhibitions; artistic residencies; staff arts programme and improving the physical environment through commissioning site-specific artwork. UCLH Arts & Heritage is funded by UCLH Charity and Friends of UCLH.
