As CDO/CIO Dr. Thomas Pöppe is driving the transformation of AOK Bayern into a locally rooted and digitally focused organization. Prior to this, he held roles including Director of Digital Health & Innovation at the biotechnology company Amgen and worked at the management consulting firm McKinsey & Company. He completed his degree in Business Informatics in 2010 at the Technical University of Darmstadt, where he also earned his doctorate in 2015.
